Welcome To My Thoughts!!!!

Hey everyone welcome to On The Chaise Lounge. This is my blog where I will be writing my thoughts on everyday life as I see it. They say the best therapy is writing down your thoughts and getting them out in the world so that is what I am going to do here, and its much cheaper than paying someone to hear my thoughts when I have tons of friends that can chime in and let me know what they think. This is going to be free flowing no real theme, just real random stuff from relationships, to sports, tv shows, the topics are endless. I want to welcome you again and hopefully through you, my followers, so I can get some understanding about the world and hopefully solve my issues.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Hey just wanted to wish my mother, Sylvia Joann Miles, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!.  I am not going to say her age but man you are getting old lady.  I told you I am putting you in a home and will visit on wednesdays and sunday for rest home BINGO.  HAHAHA!!

Mom I just want to let you know that you are the most important thing to me.   I am admitting it, I am a "momma's boy".  We have been through some trying times together, for the most part it has always been you and I against the world.  I can say because of you I have never wanted for anything, or went without anything I ever wanted.  I remember nights in Cincinnati you would go without eating so that I could eat. The way you would make soup out of just about anything in the fridge, and to this day I hate salmon cakes because we ate them a few times a weeks....YUCK!!  Mom you were the ying to my dad's yang. I think I got his fire and temper but you are the calming side of me that keeps me from jumping off the deep end sometimes.   You are so amazing, the way you keep your head high and find a way to overcome it really inspires me.  When my family turn their back on you after dads passing, you never said a ill word about them, you still was respectful and nice.  I don't know how you could do it, that just shows the love you have for people, no matter the circumstance you are going to treat people well.  I am just proud to have you as my mother...I am bias but you are the best mother in the world.  I am happy you are mine.

  1. This wasn't funny, interesting, or cool. It was beautiful and heartwarming. Your mom sounds like the epitome of a strong woman. Don't know her, but I'd be willing to bet something that she is very proud and honored to be your mother and have you as a son.
